What you'll need:
- 2 yards of a sheer fabric
- hot glue gun and extra glue sticks
- lamp shade (make sure you take it off the lamp before you begin!)
- fabric scissors
- Start by gluing the end of the fabric to the inside of the lampshade. Bunch up the fabric slightly as you glue to achieve the ruched effect.
- Finish gluing the fabric to the top of the lampshade, making sure to overlap the end of the fabric over the start by 1-2 inches. I folded the fabric over so there was no rough edge.
- Repeat steps 1 and 2 for the bottom of the lampshade. You can trim the excess fabric as you go so that you don't get into a tangled mess.
- Reattach lamp shade to the lamp and there you have it, a cute lamp to accent any room in your house!
